The major criteria for appointment for the CE Line shall be excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional
service. Proficiency in all aspects of Endocrinology is essential. The applicant is expected to work in collaboration with others in the Division to focus on providing clinical management for diabetes and general endocrine disorders, and to participate in teaching clinical endocrinology. The Division of Endocrinology, Gerontology and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University is seeking two physician scientists or scientists to fill two positions, who are basic/translational/clinical investigators at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the University Tenure Line (UTL) or University Medical Line (UML). Postdoctoral Scholars
Single-cell profiling of the bone marrow microenvironment - Stanford California
Dr. Joy Wu's Lab is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral fellows interested in single-cell profiling of the bone marrow microenvironment. Bone-forming osteoblasts play a critical role in supporting both normal hematopoiesis and cancer bone metastases. We are using single-cell RNA sequencing and mass cytometry (CyTOF) to interrogate the bone marrow microenvironment in response to genetic and pharmacologic approaches to increasing bone formation. Understanding the interactions of the osteoblast lineage with hematopoietic and cancer cells has clinical implications for hematopoiesis, immunity, and cancer metastases.
